The Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the full cast for their production of John Osborne's Look Back in Anger , opening at the Laura Pels Theatre on 2 Feb 2012, following previews from 13 Jan, and closing on 8 Apr 2012.
Directed by Sam Gold, the cast wil feature Adam Driver (Cliff), Sarah Goldberg (Allison), Anastasia Griffith (Helena) and Matthew Rhys (Jimmy).
Look Back in Anger is about four people struggling to live together and love each other in 1950s England.
The design team includes Andrew Lieberman (Sets), David Zinn (Costumes), Mark Barton (Lights), Bray Poor (Sound).
The drama premiered in 1956 at the Royal Court Theatre in London. In 1957, the play opened on Broadway and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play. Roundabout Theatre Company has a history with Osbornes work, having staged 'Look Back in Anger' (1980), 'Inadmissible Evidence '(1981) and 'The Entertainer' (1982).
