What are some of the songs that shaped rock and roll?

I'm doing a video project and going year by year to show which songs shaped rock and roll. Here's what I got so far.

Great List. I think a slightly modified approach would be to ask, "who shaped rock & roll," and not be afraid to include multiple songs by the *really* important individuals or groups.
