Spurs line-up against Shamrock Rovers
29.09.11
SPURS boss Harry Redknapp has made ten changes to the side who beat Wigan as his team lines-up against Shamrock Rovers.
Tottenham are fielding a mix of youth and experience, with Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko spearheading the attack with Sebastien Bassong and Vedran Corluka in defence.
The Europa League is not high up in Redknapp's priorities, and he again fields youngsters Jake Livermore and Thomas Carroll in midfield, with Kyle Walker and Danny Rose in the fullback positions.
Winger Aaron Lennon makes a return to the side, which also includes Giovani Dos Santos and veteran Carlo Cudicini.
The Irish side line up for their first match on English soil since facing Manchester United in 1957.
Their players will be largely unknown to the Spurs crowd, and the familiar face of ex-Tottenham midfielder Rohan Ricketts only starts on the bench.
Shamrock are playing five across the midfield to try to keep Spurs at bay, with forward Gary Twigg leading the line on his own.
