In Alfred Hitchcock's classic 1972 film, Frenzy, was it Jon Finch or Rory Emerald who played (Richard Blaney)?

Who was in this movie and what can you tell me about it? What do you think of actors: Barry Foster, Barbara Leigh-Hunt, Anna Massey, Alec McGowen, and Vivien Merchant? Was Klaus Kinski in this picture? Thank you!

Rory Emerald did not appear in “Frenzy” in 1972. The confusion lies in the fact that he did appear as a necktie serial killer in an episode of “Streets of San Francisco” that same year.

That episode, which aired December 4, 1972
