Via press release:
Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Jules Feiffer, world-renowned chef and author Anthony Bourdain, three-time Oscar® nominee Debra Winger, Emmy®-winning actress Ellen Barkin, Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Spike Lee, Emmy-winning television icon Regis Philbin and Peabody Award-winning journalist and news anch or Jim Lehrer are coming to Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in 2012 to participate in the network's popular Guest Programmer series.
TCM's Guest Programmer showcase invites notable figures from such fields as film, television, music and books to program an entire night of their favorite films and present them on the air with TCM host Robert Osborne.
"One of the things I enjoy doing most at TCM is sitting down with people from different backgrounds to talk about movies they love, and finding out why," said Osborne. "This year's list of Guest Programmers is an amazing mix of remarkable people who've chosen an intriguing mix of films for reasons I think TCM's audience will find, in most cases, surprising and absolutely fascinating."
