In the 80's Cinemax made an attempt at weekly series. I am trying to find out the name of one of those series.

It was filmed in black and white. I think its name ran along the lines of: "Strangers in Paradise," or "Lost in Paradise." I am aware of a film that was released in 1984 call "Stranger than Paradise," that was also filmed


The only series I remember on "Max" was SCTV. They took that series over after NBC dropped it.
